Terms of Use

These Terms cover use of the Site. Blog posts and the chat are general information. The chat is automated. Nothing on the Site is a quote, legal advice, or an agreement to do the work. Work starts when both sides sign a written agreement.

Quicklook LLC is formed in Washington. The Beaverton address on this page is a mailing address.

This Site and all content available on it—including, but not limited to, text, images, code, designs, layout, trademarks, logos, and other materials (“Content”)—are the property of Quicklook LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited license grant

Quicklook grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Site solely for your own informational and internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

Except where otherwise permitted by law, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, publicly display, encode, transmit, or distribute any part of the Site or its Content without our prior written permission.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
• Bypass access controls, overload the Site, or scrape it in order to disrupt it. Automated access that our robots.txt file allows is allowed.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, servers, or systems connected to it.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site, including introducing viruses, malware, or harmful code.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Use the Site to violate the legal rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.

We make no guarantee that the Site will operate uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will be secure or free from viruses or other harmful components.

If, despite the foregoing, we are found liable to you for a claim arising from use of the Site, our total liability for that claim shall not exceed $100. This cap does not limit liability under a separate services agreement.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quicklook LLC, its affiliates, officers, agents, partners, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Site modifications

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site. The date at the top is the version of these Terms that applies to use of the Site.

Access termination

We may terminate or restrict your access to the Site at our sole discretion, with or without notice, and without liability.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these websites. Access such links at your own risk.

You may not use, export, or re-export the Site or its Content in violation of any applicable laws or regulations, including U.S. export laws.

Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

• These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Quicklook LLC for use of the Site. They are not the agreement for paid work.
• If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, it shall be modified to reflect the original intent, and the remainder shall remain in full force.
• Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver.
